Think Usability Ltd. is a user experience consultancy business bridging the gap between the people and technology, making software and websites user-friendlier for the everyday user. As an uprising company it is seeking to expand its marketplace by providing unbeatable services and prices.
Based in Nottingham Trent University's Business Innovation Centre it is comprised of young, talented individuals who believe in teamwork & diligence.
Usability studies are carried out at our own test lab, fully equipped with PC’s, Mac’s, Web Cams and a range of usability software to allow us to carry out professional testing. Feel free to browse the pictures below, or perhaps arrange to come and have a look for yourselves.

Why Analysis?
Usability is a term to denote the ease of use of a tool or system. In the context of computers, it is an approach to make software and website as user friendly as possible
for the end user
; eliminating the need for them to undergo any special training.
Usability testing is an approach to measure the ease of use of software and website. Real-life problems are found by employing different usability methods and everyday users to test the system.
How do we do it?
Step 1.
We recruit real-life users to browse the system

Users responses are observed and recorded
Step 3.
We review the recordings and analyse the data

We submit our recommendations and solutions
Accessibility is a term used to describe the extent to which a tool or system is accessible for disabled users. An accessible software or website enables users of disabilities to get the maximum number of benefits as other user would normally get.
It is required by law under Disability Discrimination Act 1995 for all software and websites to be accessible for disabled users. As a result the Web Accessibility Initiative has published a set of guidelines and benchmarks to make sure websites meet the accessibility requirements.

Information Architecture refers to the organising and structuring of information in-order to improve findability and the overall user experience of the website. It helps in structuring menu trees and page layouts for a clearer presentation of information by employing card sorting and other techniques.

User Centred Design is a multiple staged approach that focuses on the end-users wants, needs and limitations. At each stage the end-user is an integral part of the design and development.
User Centred Design procedure involves finding the users needs, developing a prototype based on the user needs, testing the prototype using users, using feedback to improve prototype and retesting it.
The procedure is done in an iterative manner until the clients and users needs are met.

Competitor comparison is an approach that is used to compare a client’s website with its competitors. This allows clients to get an insight as to their positioning in the market.
When conducting a competitor comparison study, end-users browse through both the clients’ and competitors’ website. The data obtained for each user is compared to give an indication as to which website the end-user performed better using.
